The Australian Chestnut Company was founded in 1998 by Brian and Jane Casey. They had been growing chestnuts since 1986 and decided to expand their operation from just growing to the production of chestnut products that could be enjoyed all year round and that were easy to use.
There are two main sections of the business, one is the farm Mountain View Chestnuts and the other is The Australian Chestnut Company. One grows the chestnuts and sells fresh nuts and the Company undertakes processing and export functions.
